DWD mesh-belt dryers are a new generation of products, developed and manufactured by our company, based on our many years of practical experience. Compared to old ones, these new dryers are more energy-saving, practical, steady and efficient. The main feature of DWD is: heat exchanger is equipped on the lateral surface of mesh belt, so as to prevent raw material from contacting with heat exchanger. The equipment is widely used in industries such as chemistry, dyestuff, mineral, feedstuff, and foodstuff.

Range of application:

1. It is suitable in drying pasty dye, pigment after pre-shaping and other paste-like materials
2. It is suitable in drying high molecular polymer, ferric oxide, fluor spar, medicine, glue and other chemical products.

Working principle

Put raw materials onto mesh belt through suitable feeding mechanism. When drying, hot air will be introduced to raw material from above down, the surface each particle to be dried would become heating surface. Increase heat conducting area by increasing contacting area between raw material and hot air, so the diffusion distance of inner moisture become is shortened. In this case, drying process is done in a good way.

Working principle for silica gel

It's relatively slow to dry silica gel, because there is much absorbed water. In this case, enough staying time should be ensured during drying process, as well as drying temperature. If silica gel is dried too quickly, its surface would be seriously damaged. During the whole drying process, the temperature at preheating section should be lower, and speed of mesh belt should be faster, while temperature at back section should be higher, and speed lower.

The whole production line consists of three mesh belt dryers, which are preheating section, evaporation section and heating up section. Due to the characteristics of silica gel, the temperature at the first dryer should not be too high, 80-100 is better, belt speed shall be a little faster; the temperature at the second dryer would better be 100-120°C, and belt speed should be lowered properly; the temperature at the last dryer should be highest, at about 120-140°C.
